Bruno’s alchemy has transformed my body so that it is toned and youthful. My posture is much more erect than it was when I started, and I carry myself like a women much younger than 60. I guess I could say Bruno’s alchemy is sort of like Botox for the body.

Bruno Bosardi
Bruno Bosardi has owned the Body Alchemist in Hillcrest for over 14 years. He has an extensive background in dance and fitness, is fully certified through the Pilates Institute of New Mexico (Mind/Body Institute). In addition Bruno is a fully certified Gyrotronics instructor.
Most of Bruno's training is done in-studio; but he has also taught many classes in an outside environment, from swimming lessons to aerobics and "Boot Camp".
Bruno was a professional dancer and suffered back and hip injuries which made it impossible to dance anymore. He found Pilates and instantly felt relief. His injuries were healed, so decided to share this miraculous method with others.
In Pilates and Gyrotonics, Bruno believes a very few well-executed exercises produce better results than many poorly executed ones. He likes to keep the training fun and interesting. But he does not sacrifice the techinque, because the technique is what really matters.

The Body Alchemist, located next to Ralph's Supermarket, in Hillcrest, has been part of the Hillcrest community for over ten years.
In the Community
He is a native San Diegan who loves watching people find their strength and develop a stronger physical body, better capable of supporting their daily activities.
Bruno is certified in a number of techniques besides Pilates and Gyrotonic.
He has been teaching these skills in coaching with machines and in open classes for over a decade.
